The Homeless believes that Computer Literacy is one of the utmost parts of literacy. Which is very much needful for today’s generation. Now a day computers are widely used in everyday life. So, we have organised Computer Literacy Programme in various school in different slum areas and for childrens studying in underprivilegedschools. We teach each child the basic Computer knowledge and how to use the computer and internet.
The programme’s core objective is to improve the lives of underserved youth and women by fostering digital literacy. The courses impart within our students essential computer knowledge, language and interpersonal skills that enable them to use technology to enhance their employability. The programme imparts IT skills to disadvantaged sections such as slums, resettlement colonies and other low-income neighbourhoods, with a strong focus on youth and women. Therefore, to ensure gender equality we make sure that about half of our enrolees are women!
To empower the disadvantaged youth, women and children and impart them with holistic growth and development, we train them in honing their soft skills. Regular sessions aimed at personality development and leadership building coupled with co-curricular activities help promote peer bonding and foster team spirit. Our enrollees emerge as confident job seekers, enriched with the ability to make informed decisions.
